Coughs, colds and flu-like symptoms
Information on staying healthy and health promotion
Minor cuts and wounds – dressings and care
Muscle and joint injuries – strains and sprains
Skin complaints – rashes, sunburn and headlice
Stomach ache, indigestion, constipation, vomiting and diarrhoea
Treatment of minor infections

7am–10 pm, Mon-Sun. Last entry is at 8.30pm.

Minor Injuries Unit, Queen Mary’s Hospital
A walk-in service is offered here, with no appointment necessary. It is staffed by emergency nurse practitioners who can diagnose and treat a variety of injuries and ailments, including:
Sprains and strains
Cuts, grazes and minor broken bones
Wound stitching
Superficial burns and scalds
Throat and ear infections
Emergency contraception
