From here she worked in a number of London hospitals in various roles within oncology and haematology. These included, amongst others, bone marrow transplantation, a chemotherapy day unit and within research. After doing a degree in Social Anthropology, Tor did some work with drug users and their families before joining Thurleigh Road. She has 3 children and lives locally.
